HHS issues interim security rule

This rule effects any organization with patient health information that has not taken the appropriate steps to secure that information.

In other words – If an organization does not secure patient health information, they will be required to notify patients, HHS and potentially media of unauthorized access.

This ruling provides an opportunity to discuss security architecture with your customers. We have excellent solutions for data in motion specifically.
